Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Advocacy for women’s rights is a global movement aimed at achieving gender equality, social justice, and empowerment. In Lafia Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, women face challenges such as limited access to education, economic opportunities, and representation in decision-making processes.
